Das hier ist für mich das schönste Weihnachtslied! Für Alle, für die Weihnachten nicht nur „Oh du Fröhliche“ bedeutet, sondern auch das Blau drum herum und dazwischen, hier die wunderbare Joni Mitchell:

P.S: wenn man sich den Song kaufen will, dann am Besten die ganze Platte: „Blue,“ sowieso eine meiner „einsame Insel“ – Platten. Wenn´s der Song alleine sein soll, der heißt anders als hier bei Youtube im Titel nur „River“ ohne „the“….

Die Version hier scheint mir eine sehr frühe oder zumindest sehr freie zu sein, ich liebe ihre Ansage zu Anfang des Songs… aber die Studioversion lohnt sich auch sehr!
